How the Twilio SMS price adds up
Twilio bills each text message separately. The monthly total has three parts: the per message rate for the destination country, carrier fees on each message (US and Canada), and the monthly rent for the phone number you send from. This calculator adds all three, so the total matches what you pay, not only the headline rate.
